Night at the Derby

Tonight was Ryley's very first Pinewood Derby! We had such a good time. Ryley was the color guard for the pledge and then his den sang a song for us, it was really cute. Then it was race time. The track was a little off and in Heat 1, we were in the bad lane. His car was first until it fell off the track right before the finish line. In Heat 2 he was up against the ward's turbo car and came in second. The final heat was his winnning round and he was so excited. He was so prould of his little car. It was really alot of fun...we can't wait for next year!
