Vacation Week 3
Week 3 started out with a trip to Disneyland. We were able to go down to Anaheim the night before and stay in a hotel near the park. The kids loved going to the beach and swimming in the pool with my mom and I that night. We woke up early and headed over to Disneyland where we met up with Aunt Kimmy, Uncle Mike, Aunt April, Cody and Hailey. It was a perfect day...the weather was fantastic and the lines were not too long.

That weekend, we went down to my Aunt Sharon's house to go to Murrieta's annual Birthday Bash. My Uncle Al went down early in the morning and set up a tarp right next to the stage so that we would have great seats for the concert later that evening. The kids loved the kid zone which was filled with giant blow up slides, rides, and giant snow cones. We then joined up with my grandma and a few of my cousins to watch the concert. We listened to a really fun coverband and caught hats, drumsticks, blowup guitars, glowsticks, etc that they threw from the stage. To our surprise, the band announced that they had a very special guest and Stevie Nix walked onto the stage and sang one song with the band. It was one of the most fun evenings of the entire trip.....dancing and singing with my family. I can see why it's my Grandma's favorite day of the year.

We also had the oppourtunity to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Putman. The kids loved playing in the yard and holding all of Grandpa's guns from his gun safe. Ryley was able to stay with them two weeks of his vacation. Thanks for taking such great care of him Grandma and Grandpa!

Grandpa Brown had taken the boys fishing earlier in the week and weren't able to catch a fish. So, the last weekend, Grandpa took Trevor fishing at a place where he knew they would catch one (the fish farm). Trev was so proud when he came home with 3 fish. He also proudly told us that Grandpa drove through yellow and red lights!
The last night of our trip was spent at Aunt Kimmy's house. I love my sister!
Thanks to everyone who made this trip so special! We love and miss you all!
