School Awards

I had the privlidge of attending Ryley and Courtney's award ceremonies. I am so proud of both of these kiddos. They have both worked extremely hard this year and really put forth their best effort. It was such an enjoyable school year that went by much too quickly. They are both so excited that summer begins tomorrow at 12:15!
Here's Courtney with her awards. This year she received a Heritage Hero award, A/B honor roll, Achievement in Music, Six Flags reading, a Super Star math trophy and a silver medal in reading olympics. Here's Ryley with his. He was awarded with a Heritage Hero award, Six Flags reading, Blue Ribbion Recorder and one for the Chimes team. We're so happy for them both!

I am so greatful this year for Ryley and Courtney's teachers. They both put in so much time and effort into making this year special. Excuse the pictures, the school gym is my personal photography nightmare! (if anyone out there has any tips, I would be more than greatful) No matter how I change my ISO, white balance, flash or no flash, my gym picures turn out awful! This is Ryley and Mrs. Schoenberger. She was so paitent and kind. Ryley really took to her layed back style of teaching. He really enjoyed her class. I really appreciate all of the extra time and effort that she put into making sure that Ryley would pass both of his TAKS tests.

We're also very thankful for Mrs. Noel. Courtney thrives with a teacher who is personable and loving. Mrs. Noel always showed the kids how much she enjoyed having them in her class. It was a nice 2nd grade year for her.
